Colla Loop
A 9km easy walk on small roads which starts in Schull and has beautiful views.
Schull to Toormore Walk
An easy 10km walk which finishes in a lovely forest and river trail.
Derreennatra Loop Walk
Derreennatra Loop Walk is marked with pink arrows, which you need to look out for and starts at the Trailhead in Schull.
Gubbeen Loop Walk
An easy walk along quiet country roads which starts in Schull.
The Old Butter Road Walk
A moderate 10km walk which starts at the mapboard across the street from the hotel and brings you to Ballydehob.
Derryconnell Loop Walk
An easy to moderate 10.5km loop from Schull. Follow the purple arrows.
Lough Hyne Loop
A beautiful 7km walk which starts and finishes at Lough Hyne, about 30 minutes away from the hotel.
Mizen Head
Located 30 minutes from the hotel, Mizen Head offers absolutely breathtaking views and is a must-see. There are several Cliff paths which can be found on www.mizenhead.ie
Cliff Walk at Warren Strand
A short but beautiful walk which can be started either from Warren Strand, Rosscarberry or Owenahincha.

You can drive to the top and take in the stunning views
Mizenhead
Buy your tickets in the gift shop at the entrance. Photographs never really do Mizen Head justice. To appreciate the raw beauty of this iconic landmark, you have to visit in person!
Ballyrisode Beach
Two small beaches with soft sand located in a quiet side cove about 10 – 15 minutes from the hotel. It is ideal for a picnic and sea bath.
Three Castle Head
Baltimore Beacon
An iconic West Cork landmark, rich with history with views that will take your breath away. A 40 minute drive from the hotel.
Inchydoney Beach
A beautiful Blue Flag Beach near Clonakilty. The beach is popular with surfers and considered suitable for beginners. There is a surf school at the beach with board & wetsuit hire.
Warren Strand Beach near Rosscarberry
A beach with stunning views and super fine sand. In the summer months there is a coffee shop and crepe stand.
Drombeg Stone Circle
Drombeg Stone Circle is a circle of 17 standing stones dating back to the bronze age. Believed to have been built around 1100 – 800 BC, it is located on the edge of a rocky terrace overlooking the sea and is a sight to see!
Brow Head
The southernmost point of the Irish mainland. A narrow road winds its way up to the headland, on whose highest elevation lays the ruins of a former watchtower.
